Behind the Lens

I'm a hopeless romantic who finds great joy in creating and capturing connection and beauty wherever I go.

Hopeless romantic (and total Enneagram 4), lover of light,  travel, and the soft, glowing colors of a California sunset.

My desire as your photographer is to capture every moment and every detail, no matter how big or small, in the most beautiful way possible.

Everything from you shoes to your first dance deserves to be documented and enjoyed again and again for years to come.  That's the power of a photograph.

I focus on turning the whirlwind of a wedding day, with its constant motion, into a series of powerful images that will stand the test of time.

Over the years I've become an observer of the little things.  The sounds of the wind through the trees, the tiny buzz of a bumble bee, the little giggles that traverse through my house when it's full of kids.  What we see on the surface is only half the story, what lies beneath is what's most interesting.  That's where your story begins.

The gratitude I feel for having photography as my career is immeasurable.  I feel like the luckiest person alive.  God is great!

My career

My childhood is filled with memories of Malibu and the beach. The ocean will always have my heart.

Europe is easily my favorite place to visit.  I can't get enough of the architecture and the amazing people who live there.

Art History was my favorite class in college.  My first time at the Louvre made such an impression on me.  It was like everything I had learned on paper had been brought to life.

I'm beyond grateful for my family.  We are silly, carefree, and enjoy a little bit of sarcasm.

On the wedding day, I love seeing all of my couple's details.  The shoes are often over looked but they're my favorite detail of the bunch.

My clients are animal lovers, avid travelers, with a taste for adventure and sea salt in their hair.

What would it look like to have no distractions on your wedding day?  No camera in your face, people to please, traditions to fulfill.  Just you and your partner soaking in all the magic, love, and laughter that a wedding day has to offer.  My goal is to capture your honest and authentic self, so you can relieve these moments for years to come.
