The White Magnolia wedding venue is a beautiful country event space that encompasses 110 acres of rolling green grass and beautiful oak tress.  The charming modern barn which is more like a farmhouse is the focal point of the entire venue.  It has everything you need for the perfect wedding. Not only is the White Magnolia a Pinterest worthy wedding venue, but the staff works tirelessly to make sure your day goes perfectly.

This venue is filled with a variety of gorgeous settings for your magnolia wedding. The bridal suite is the perfect place for brides to enjoy a few mimosa's while priming with her closest friends. Meanwhile, Grooms and their guys will feel right at home in their own groom suite.

With several unique ceremony locations, you're sure to find one perfectly tailored for your day. Say I do beneath the pavilion or in the farmhouse for a more traditional southern wedding.

As you walk the grounds, you’ll capture photos that will grace your home for decades to come. You’ll dance the night away inside the farmhouse beneath elegant chandeliers. Your guests will feel right at home with multiple porches and seating options.

As you drive back down the lane, leaving the White Magnolia as husband and wife, you’ll look over at your handsome husband and always remember how beautiful your day truly was.

It's the day of your wedding and sunlight is streaming through the trees along a fence-lined driveway while wheat blows gently in the fields beyond. Bails of hay pepper the landscape and cows graze in the distance...

THE PERFECT Country Escape

“we couldn't imagine a prettier place to get married!”

I really could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! Dee made all of my fairytale wedding dreams come true and I am so thankful for that. She was amazing to work with and even my husband said "she made taking pictures not so bad", which if you knew him you would know how great that is! So thank you again Dee, for everything!

If you and your guests need a place to stay after your reception look no further than these beautiful cottages.  There are 10 guest cottages where up to 4 guests can stay.  One was specially designed as a honeymoon suite with an extra romantic interior.  Each cottage is $230.00 per night plus tax.  I've photographed in these before and they are just as cute inside as they are on the outside.  Your guests will love them!

Your vendors will have uninterrupted use of the venue to decorate and set-up starting at 10am.  I love that they offer this because most venues don't!

Your reception can last until 10pm as included in your package.  However, if you'd like to party longer it is $250 for each additional hour.  The venue provides round tables and wooden cross back chairs, ivory linens, 3 farm style dining tables, A/C, and a large porch if you choose an outdoor reception which would be perfect in the Fall.

1. Saturday - $10,900
2. Friday and Sunday - $10,500
3. Monday through Thursday - $9,500
51-100 guests add $65 per person

Ceremony Locations

The Pavilion

The pavilion includes a beautiful ancient archway farmed in linens to create the perfect backdrop for your ceremony.  It is included with all wedding packages.  Four beautiful antique church pews will seat your closest family members while other friends and family will sit on the vintage shaker style wooden benches.  The trees surrounding the pavilion and pond are beautifully lit to add an extra touch as sunlight fades.  The venue has a 5 star rating on The Knot.com

The Farm house

The 28 foot brick fireplace makes a beautiful backdrop for an indoor wedding.  It can also be used for a wedding reception location for an outdoor wedding.  With two beautiful staircases on either side, guests can get a different view of your entire day.  There is a/c and the fireplace has gas logs for burning during winter weddings.  Porches line the side of the building giving your guests plenty of room to move around.

The bridal suite and the groom suite are both located inside the farmhouse itself.  They are on the upper floor separated by a large sitting area.  I love taking getting ready photos here and it's a great place for a first look with your dad or bridesmaids.

Frequently Asked Questions

A few of the most asked questions about shooting weddings at the white magnolia

1. Should we both get ready at venue?

Absolutely!  This venue has a special bridal suite with rustic country feel and a masculine groomsmen suite on the second floor.  This makes it easy for everyone to get ready at the same time and makes sense from a photographic stand point as well.  My team and I will be able to capture both you and your fiance getting ready at the same time.  This is great for your timeline!

2. Where do you recommend taking our family portraits?

I love taking family portraits outside in natural light.  Under the large oak tree is a great place but we can also use the farmhouse itself as a backdrop as well.  If there's a chance of rain or we have an extremely hot day, I'll ask that family portraits be taken inside after the reception area is moved around temporarily.

3. What time should we schedule our ceremony to begin?

If you're doing a first look, your ceremony should start two hours before sunset.  However, if you're taking a more traditional route, I suggest your ceremony at the White Magnolia take place at least 3 hours before sunset.  I'd love to chat with you more about ceremony start times and what would work best for you at the farmhouse.  Each wedding is different so use these times as a guideline.

4. Do they allow for sparkler exits? Should we do one?

They allow for sparkler exits.  They typically happen on the staircase in front of the farmhouse.  Keep in mind that it takes about 15 minutes to get all of your participating guests outside and light the sparklers.  If this is arranged ahead of time, the White Magnolia staff is super helpful getting this set up for you.

5. How long should we plan to take bride & groom portraits?

I typically spend an hour on bride and groom portraits here.  There are so many wonderful places to take them and we'll move around the property so you can get a beautiful variety in your final gallery.  There's everything from a large pond, grand live oaks, white cottages, to a rustic fence with horses and cows behind it.  The options are nearly limitless!

6. Are pets allowed to be in the wedding?

This is one of those few wedding venues that allows for pets to be used during the wedding.  I love this about them.  The only caveat is that the animals are not allowed inside the venue or in the cottages.  They have to remain outside.  If you're concerned about the heat, there are many shaded areas for people as well as pets.
