Have you ever been to the LSU Botanical Gardens when the sunflowers are in bloom? If not, you totally need to go see them. They’re beautiful and make for the perfect Instagram photo opp! Here’s a tip for shooting in any type of flower field like this, take bug spray and wear boots! We learned this pretty quickly after realizing that the fire ants loved the sunflowers just as much as we did. Thankfully we were able to get a few really gorgeous shots and then move on to our next location. That’s what I love about the Botanical Gardens, there’s just so much space to shoot in. You don’t even have to leave to change up the backdrop. If you’d like to talk about having your session here, just let me know! I’d love to chat!
Guys, guys, guys!! I LOVE shooting you with your furbabies! Please bring them to your engagement session. They are such a big part of your family and deserve to be represented in professional images. The truth is our loving companions have a shorter life span than us and these will serve as great memories one day. Look at Lily with Josh and Catherine. Heart eyes right?
